Electrical engineering and automatic electric drive laboratory

This laboratory is situated in classroom No 107. Laboratory of electrical engineering and automatic electric drive is an academic centre used for theoretical practice, practical training, laboratory work, tutorials and extracurricular activities in “Ship electrical machinery”, “Ship automatic electrical drives”, “Electrical engineering”.

The laboratory is equipped with the following laboratory benches: “Theory of electrical engineering” RDC-06.000, “Electrical machinery with microprocessor-controlled system” RDC-23.100, “Electric drive automatic control system with microprocessor-based information processing system” RDC-02.100, “Research on direct and alternating current drive systems”.

The laboratory is used for conducting the following laboratory works:

  1. Direct-current line circuits
  2. Direct-current active impedor
  3. Passive impedor in alternating current circuit
  4. Resonant phenomena in simple harmonic current line circuits
  5. Three-phase star-connected circuit
  6. Three-phase delta-connected circuit
  7. Inductive coupled circuits
  8. Line circuits of periodical nonsinusoidal current
  9. Transients of direct current line circuits
  10. Non-linear resistance circuits
  11. Ferroresonance circuits

  1. Research on double-wound power transformer by open-circuit operation and short circuit.
  2. Three-phase double-wound transformer connection group test.
  3. Research on parallel operation of three-phase double-wound transformers.
  4. Research on three-phase asynchronous motor with phase-wound rotor by open-circuit operation and short circuit.
  5. Research on three-phase asynchronous motor through direct load.
  6. Research on methods of starting a three-phase asynchronous motor with square-cage rotor.
  7. Research on three-phase synchronous generator.
  8. Research on three-phase synchronous generator set synchronizing with a circuit.
  9. Research on three-phase synchronous generator.
  10. Research on constant-current generator with parallel excitation.
  11. Research on direct current motor with parallel excitation.
