Laboratory of Ship Electrical Power Systems

Laboratory of Ship Electrical Power Systems

This lab is located in classroom "303" in the second building. It is used for laboratory and practical lessons of “Ship Electric Power Systems” discipline conducting.

It is equipped with such posters as:

  • • reverse-power relay and reverse-current relay research;
  • • automatic circuit breakers research;
  • • research of methods of insulation resistance test in a double-current network;
  • • oscillator current protection research;
  • • research of transfer circuit-breaker;
  • • research of antisingle-phasing device;
  • • navigational lights switch-board research;
  • • research of portable rechargeable marine emergency lighting.

Posters and device samples give students an opportunity to study device construction, explore the operation of one-year electrical equipment and practical navigation systems that use and create this equipment.
